Enjoy a fantastic
variety of places to ride horseback
on Kauaui Island. Our primary
location is a property along the
canyon rim of the south fork of the
Wailua river. You will enjoy
multiple and exquisitely lovely
views of Kauai's world famous Mount
Waialeale, Sleeping Giant, Makaleha,
Kalepa and Kipu Kai Ridge. We also
have access to many special trails
on the State Na Ale Hele program
that show guests other prime areas
of Kauai. On any day you can add
other activities from diving lessons
to helicopter over flights - the
options are endless.

Horses:
Horses are a variety of
breeds to suit everyone, regardless
of their riding level. Quarter
Horses, Thoroughbreds, Welsh pony,
Morgans and the breeding stallions
are of the Spanish/ Hawaiian Horse
decent and Quarter Horse/Welsh Pony.

Note: We can adjust the riding
pace according to the riders. We
like to keep the rides small with a
maximum of 6 riders. 4 riding days
from 2.5 to 5 hrs. We recommend a
rental a car for greater flexibility
for evening meals, sightseeing and
additional activities, but if you
prefer, we can also provide all
transfers from the airport and to
the rides.
Accommodations:
We use a number of different B&Bs in
the area. All of them have private
bathroom facilities, some have
pools, and all of them serve
breakfast. The actual B&B for your
trip will be determined upon booking
and availability.
Itinerary Day 1:
Arrival in Kauai. Our guide will
meet you at the airport for a
Hawaiian Welcome. You can pick up
your rental car or we will provide a
transfer to the B&B or your choice
of hotel. Day 2:
Pickup at 9am (or use
your rental car to drive on your
own) and transfer to ranch.
Ride in arena and around the 170
acres after a get acquainted morning
and swapping of information to get
you on the right horse. 2 Hr trail
ride after an arena lesson. Lunch at
ranch after the ride and then
transport to B&B . Day 3:
Pick up at 8am and transfer to the
ranch. Start of ride to the Sleeping
Giant Mtn. Lunch at Pavillion and
then return to the ranch to care for
horses. Transfer back. Optional late
afternoon tours can be organized.
Day 4: FREE MORNING.
Pick up at 1pm, have lunch and ride
to ranch for another rim line ride
of 2-3 hours into the late
afternoon. This area is best for
those wanting some riding lessons or
enjoy the flat areas for trots and
canters. Day 5: Pick up at
8 am for an 8 hr Kuilau picnic and
swim ride. Start with a 2-3 hour
ride in the mountains adjacent to
Waialeale. Enjoy the most incredible
views of the week of Hawaiian
forest. Follow trails inside the
Park, the Swimming Hole, a BBQ lunch
and leisure time in the area. This
will be the best day of their trip
and the longest. Ride back to the
ranch by mid-afternoon and transfer
to B&B. Day 6: Departure
after breakfast.
