Little Beaver Creek Ranch
British Columbia's member of the Relais & Chateaux Group

This magnificent 100-year-old ranch with authentic western ambience is one of only a handful of properties in Canada that bears the prestigious European "Relais and Châteaux" rating. A stamp of approval for even the most discerning guests - thanks to the comfort of the surroundings and impeccable service of the dedicated staff. With four master suites and three regular suites in individual log lodges, the ranch welcomes and pampers a small group of guests. The owners have a passion for the art of living and believe in exceptional quality and refinement in all details.
The riding country is one of the best in BC. Wide open ranch land, rolling hills, healthy forests, and endless vistas. You may even see some wild horses on your outings. Of course there is also fly-fishing, canoeing, hiking, badminton,... at the ranch.
The spacious chalets offer the very highest level of comfort and facilities - all located directly on the shores of Glimpse Lake, with their own boat landing.
The cuisine at the ranch is exquisite. Breakfast is served in your suite. Lunch is served from a daily special menu, including desserts. In the evening we service a three to four course gourmet dinner.

Horseback riding
is "Western" style only. The ranch has over 20 horses available for all caliber of riders. All rides into the wilderness are accompanied and are dependent upon the guests' skills and experience. Riding groups are divided into different levels so all levels of riders will have a great riding experience. Ride as much or as little as you like during your stay - the daily riding options are not included.
Prior to riding, you will also have the opportunity to get acquainted in our paddock with a horse, in addition to watching horseman demonstrations.
Even those not really experienced with horseback riding soon gain confidence -- either immediately, thanks to the professionally schooled good-natured quarter horses -- or at the latest following the demonstration of Alex's type of natural horsemanship in the paddock. Very quickly, you'll be longing to discover the call the wild, on horseback.
Individual rides through the nearby, unspoiled forests and flowers strewn Meadows, along the banks of secluded lakes, passing large herds of wild horses, are unforgettable experience. Sometimes, we take part in a local cattle drive, like real cowboys, becoming a genuine part of the Wild West adventure with its spirit of freedom.

Other activities: As well as riding, you can try your luck at fishing, take the canoe, a rowboat or electric powered boat, enjoy a refreshing swim, discover the nearby area on a mountain bike or simply relax on the large decks of the guest lodges, watching the world go by. Fiercely disputed competitions, often take place on the two badminton courts and volleyball. Or why not visit neighboring Douglas Lake Ranch -- the largest cattle ranch in North America.
Whether you love to ride on horseback or just need peace, relaxation and freedom, activities on our ranch can be tailored to suit your individual needs.
Golf - a golf course is available about 15 miles from the lodge

Fly-fishing is the best way to fish Glimpse Lake, but trolling and spin casting is equally successful on this trout filled lake. The lake is approx. 2 miles long and almost 3/4 mile at its widest point, with an average depth of 30 ft. and at its deepest 180 ft. Only electric motors are to be used. All fishing gear ranging from boats, rods, tackle and licenses are included in the ranch package. Within a 20 minute walk there is one of British Columbia’s finest trophy fishing lakes -  Blue Lake, as well as many other trout filled lakes a short trip from the ranch.

Gourmet Meals
The cuisine at the ranch is exquisite. The Executive Chef is highly decorated and the kitchen staff well trained. Included in the ranch stay are three delicious meals per day. Breakfast is served in your suite with the choice of everything on the breakfast menu. Lunch is served from the "Daily Special Menu" - including desserts. In the evening a set of three to four-course gourmet dinners are served. All barbecues, picnic-meals are included as well (depending on weather and time schedule). Drinks and beverages are not included.

The master suites, not only have their own fireplace, but also Jacuzzis and steam rooms.
